The Friends of The Little Miami State Park helps promote and maintain the recreational trail that runs from Terrace Park, Ohio to just south of Xenia, about 60 miles long and some 60 feet wide, surrounded by the Little Miami River on one side and lots of tress, open fields and slow moving little towns on the other. May 15th - Just finished the website. They are very happy with the end result. Take a look:littlemiamistatepark.org April 1st - Hired by the Friends to write their content. Producing excellent content is the most difficult tasks for most owners. February 1st - After a few delays, I met with the Friends. They approved the site design and we laid out out the menu structure. They will provide all of the written content to me, soon. December 9th - Advised the Friends to change their domain from flmsp.org, a confusing acronym that can not be deciphered by search engines to littlemiamistatepark.org. It's relatively clear and contains keywords which will help significantly in their search engine ranking (SEO). December 8th - They like the design and are working on a site map. The map will show them how their site information will fit into the design. December 5th - I asked the Friends what their main goal was for the site. Besides providing information about the park and their volunteers, they said they wanted to be able to sell advertising so the site would become a source of revenue instead of a pull on finance. . |
