Nami is a grassroots health advocacy organization that was ranked by The American Institute of Philanthropy as one of the top 10 charities nationwide.  Worth Magazine ranked NAMI in its "Top 100 charities most likely to change the world".

March 25th, 2011 - Reset NAMI Clermont County's domain DNS to point to their new site and changed the mail destination in the MX record to Google Apps, their current mail provider. Congratulations NAMI Clermont County.  Your new site is now live. nami-cc.org


February 7th - Congratulations NAMI Butler County. Your new site is now live. nami-bc.org
November 19th
- Adding content to all of the sites, 30+ pages per site save the regional website which has just one.  The NAMI affiliates are very busy, so getting the material has been slow.  Here's a screenshot of the new NAMI Clermont County homepage, designed by Margo Jacobs.
October 22nd
- Almost all of the custom template work is done.  Next week we'll be adding content to all four sites.
September 10th
- Created four test sites, but I am only developing one because they will all share a uniformed look. When complete, I'll transfer the finished template and database to the other three then adjust each according to the needs of each individual affiliate.
September 8th
- NAMI hired an outside consultant to design the sites and I met her at Half Day Cafe in Wyoming.  She gave me a wireframe of her custom design, the site map, and some FPO images. We also discussed the development schedule and set some benchmarks as to when major portions will be completed.
September 1st
- Development begins with me offering NAMI one year of free website hosting for all of their sites.
January 2010
- I met with four local NAMI directors to discuss the advantages of converting their current static websites to a dynamic content management system that they can update themselves.  They liked the idea of being able to adjust the site immediately by themselves and also thought the money they would save would be very helpful with their tight budgets.  Here are their current sites: NAMI Butler, Warren, Clermont, and Hamilton.  

We also discussed the development schedule and set some benchmarks as to when major portions will be completed.
