The Pierce Township Tea Party is a few miles east of Cincinnati, Ohio. When they started, one of their first decisions was to get a website.  They said their objective was two fold - to educate and inform their members and fellow countrymen.  They thought the best and most cost effective way to do this was on the web.

March 2011 - The Pierce Tea Party is now defunct, due to lack of interest.  You can view the beautiful website we created here on its ip address.  Its design was modeled after the very successful Drudgereport.  If you have an interest in taking over the site for your organization, please let me know.  It's really nice.

April 27th - Just putting the finishing touches onto the site. Added an "elevator" button for those wanting to get to the top of the page quickly and a favicon in the url. Thank you, Rod.

April 23rd - Header artwork and logo placed. The client's very happy.
April 19th - Developing artwork and a logo with Claire to cover the entire header. Done soon, we hope.
April 17th - Met with Steve and Joanne at the Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Hyde Park for a training session on Joomla's new K2 extension. They were intimidated at first but quickly found it easy to use.
April 13th - Formatted the header, main menu, the 3 columns and footer. Over the next 3 days we traded many emails with the client styling the site to their preferences. The client called the unscrolled space at the top half of the site "valuable real estate" and they wanted to "farm" as much of it as possible
March 31st - Showed them the basic design. Approved on April 4th, installed on the 6th. Unfortunately the Joomla version, 1.5.13, was defective, so we had to manual fix it.
March 28th - For the permanent site, they want a 3 column layout, one for each of their guiding principals of Education, Vigilance and Action. Each column will be filled with links to related articles on their website and on the web.
March 13th, 2010 - They tea party wanted a website immediately to accompany an email blast they were sending in two days. I tossed up a splash page, and they were in business in 4 hours.
